Wyoming, here we come!

Wyoming...here we come! yep, you read right. Mike, Josh, and I are moving to wyoming. Mike is starting a scrap metal recycling company (hoppermetals) in central Wyoming. We will be living in Riverton, (my last area that I served in on my mission), and working in the surrounding areas.

We have spent the last couple of months, gathering and purchasing the necessary equipment, including a trailer (above, in the dumpster), and dumpsters (below).

This week, we are closing on a deal to buy a semi-truck and an excavator with a grapple and magnet. Mike and I are working as a team, as he takes care of the majority of the physical stuff and I am organizing the paperwork and financial aspect of things. We are excited about the move since things have fallen into place like they haven't for months. I love the people of wyoming and am excited for this new adventure to be among them!

One heck of a weekend!

We sure had one heck of a Weekend! If the week wasnt rough enough with Mike on the road in Wyoming and Utah and only spending 2 nights at home, Friday morning he was flagged at the Port of Entry in Heber City. He was put out of commission for over 10 hours because his log book hadnt been updated for a couple days. As I was driving the 2 hours to rescue him, the radiator cracked and the car overheated 15 minutes away from him. I fixed the crack with jb weld but the car wouldn't start, even after it cooled down. The Johnsons, from Draper, who were out four wheeling rescued me and drove me to meet Mike in Heber.
My mom came to our rescue and took us to Provo, where she was attending education week at BYU. We spent the night in the dorms, cuddling on a twin size bed. Mike and I got up early so I could drive him the half hour back to his truck. He made his delivery and we met up later in Heber. The car still wouldnt start, so we pushed the car into a metal bin off of a dirt hill. It fell out while it was being put on the truck and we had to lift it back in (thanks to the help of a bunch of family members that happened to be passing by that way). In the meantime, I hadnt packed enough diapers, so when we ran out, I improvised by wrapping him in his blanket and finishing it off with a shopping bag. (just like the days of cloth diapers). it worked like a charm! Oh life is good!

Camping

The Bingham family including Mike, Josh, my lil sis Sara, my bro Jake, his wife Jamie, their three kids, Spencer, Bailey, Jaxon, my mom, dad, and I went camping in the Uinta mountains for a couple of days.
We went riding on dirt bikes and 4-wheeling all over the mountains... I think it is the last time we let my dad lead the way, it was a pretty crazy ride!!!

At least one of us was perky in the morning!

We hiked up a mountain with no trail and fallen trees all over until we came to a pretty meadow with a stream running through it and then we went fishing. These bite-size, charred pieces of flesh and bone are the fish we caught and ate later that night at camp!
