Smart Start
And we're back! Josh was so thrilled to go back to school, and I was glad for him. He just jumped right into it. He loves his teachers and is so attentive. I got a snapshot of his first day and he in return decided to snap one of me!
Bunny money
The day finally came! Josh has been working hard all summer to earn and save money for his bunny, his pig, and his horse. On the trip to grandma's I found some bunnies on KSL, so we went bunny hunting. We ended up buying two young ones from IFA because the others were much older and wilder and too hard for Josh to hold. Josh has been so good at taking care of them. He likes to push them in his wheelbarrow. Bless the poor bunnies hearts, they are fulfilling the measure of their creation.

Grandma's house
The boys always have a fun time at grandma's house and this trip was no different. We went to the farm on the river one evening before sunset. The boys were begging to go swimming and their mother was a sucker so down to the water we went. It was so warm, it made me wish I had my suit and a tent so we could just build a fire, swim, and camp the night away. But alas, we drove back home and slept in our cozy beds.
Weekend fun
We spent one of the last weekends, before school started, playing at the lake and riding four wheelers in the mountains. We invited our friend Dustin to join us and each time he spends time with our family I am sure that the poor boy is traumatized from the chaos!

Some of Mom's projects
I don't get many pictures of the projects that are mine, but I did get a few. They aren't the best but they show a couple of the things that have kept me busy. Some of the projects this year have been our garden and orchard. (Planting, sprinkler system, weeding, harvesting, preserving) Construction and remodeling on our basement, and the guest house, and of course gardening in our yard.
