Videos of Josh

Joshua discovered that he has new-found freedom on his hands and knees, so he makes the most of it!

Josh loves to play with dad, even when he gets beat up! Dont worry though Josh gets back at dad in the middle of the night, hair pulling, kicking, 4 am alarm cries, and whimpers! so who really wins???

This is Josh about a week after he decided that he can crawl.

Josh found that he could crawl when he discovered a beautiful yellow balloon that floated around the room. It had a string so he could hold on to the slipperey little rascal while he wrestled with it around the room. He was breathing pretty hard by the time I took the video, maybe you can hear him.

Family Photos

Busy Moving!

We've been remodeling the trailer that we'll live in, including new carpet and tile.

The last couple of months I've used every spare minute getting ready to move. While packing boxes from our house, Josh has been a big help as always! When he's not chewing on packing paper, he's riding on my back.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was small in number this year, but not lacking in company or adventure! Everyone chipped in to help with the food.

During the weekend, we spent some time in target practice, and if you will believe it, riding a camel! Vernal does Hollydays, where we have tons of activities for free for the community.

My bundle of Joy!

Joshua is plenty of work, long nights, and dirty diapers, but he is such a bundle of joy in my life. I live for little moments like these...belly laughs from being thrown in the air...

looking like a little thug in his borrowed hat...

Chewing on his toy chicken....
watching Josh and Mike arm wrestle...

...giving me grins, just because...

...enjoying every moment, especially the simple ones.

Happy 25th Birthday

Mike celebrated his 25th birthday surrounded by family. We had a peruvian dish for lunch, followed by cheesecake and presents.

He got a start to his business with a sign for Wyoming. It has been a good time to reflect on the last 25 years of life and what choices have led us to this point. How many people start a business at age 25, own a semi-truck, trailer, excavator, house, wife, and baby (he doesnt own us, we stay by choice!) We are so incredibly blessed. Happy Birthday Hopper!

Time with Cousins!

Josh has spent time with cousins during the past month before we head to Wyoming.

Deo, my sister Rachel's son, is gentle, careful and sweet with him.

Josh likes to kind of sit back and watch his active cousins run around while he munches on the nearest toy!

Happy Halloween!

Josh dressed up as a little lion cub for his first halloween. He was just about the cutest lion cub you have ever seen, though he wouldnt hold still to get his whiskers. Mike's parents came out for the weekend, to help us get moved and for a visit. It is always good to see family.

Josh loves to help with everything! He is helping grandma Bingham and dad juice some carrots for a treat!

Doing a little bit of Everything

Mike has been busy as well, selling water troughs at the sale barn on Saturday...

...saying goodbye to our calves before they went through the auction,
(we ended up buying one back because he was going so cheap)...

Painting bins and putting OUR name on them...

...and loading bins to deliver to Wyoming businesses so they
can start collecting metal for us!

Things Joshua Loves!

His daddy, especially rides on his back!

Tasting everything he sees!

Long naps... after he wears mom out!

Attacking people... but only as long as their chins aren't hairy!

Looking at himself in the mirror! "Aren't I Gorgemous!"

Making music!

His independence!

Busy Landscaping

Mike and I have been going a hundred miles an hour trying to get everything done before we head up to wyoming. Besides me taking classes, being a mom, and trying to pack a household (which by the way I havent gotten to yet), I have been landscaping my mom's yard before wintertime.

I've been busy from everything from design to planting, sprinkler system to curbing, sod to gravel.

Mike finally realized I wasn't going to be able to do it all by myself so he
sent a couple of workers over to help me out.

Playing on the tractor.

Real landscaping equipment! Mike to the rescue, while Josh surveys the handy work.

Wyoming, here we come!

Wyoming...here we come! yep, you read right. Mike, Josh, and I are moving to wyoming. Mike is starting a scrap metal recycling company (hoppermetals) in central Wyoming. We will be living in Riverton, (my last area that I served in on my mission), and working in the surrounding areas.

We have spent the last couple of months, gathering and purchasing the necessary equipment, including a trailer (above, in the dumpster), and dumpsters (below).

This week, we are closing on a deal to buy a semi-truck and an excavator with a grapple and magnet. Mike and I are working as a team, as he takes care of the majority of the physical stuff and I am organizing the paperwork and financial aspect of things. We are excited about the move since things have fallen into place like they haven't for months. I love the people of wyoming and am excited for this new adventure to be among them!

One heck of a weekend!

We sure had one heck of a Weekend! If the week wasnt rough enough with Mike on the road in Wyoming and Utah and only spending 2 nights at home, Friday morning he was flagged at the Port of Entry in Heber City. He was put out of commission for over 10 hours because his log book hadnt been updated for a couple days. As I was driving the 2 hours to rescue him, the radiator cracked and the car overheated 15 minutes away from him. I fixed the crack with jb weld but the car wouldn't start, even after it cooled down. The Johnsons, from Draper, who were out four wheeling rescued me and drove me to meet Mike in Heber.
My mom came to our rescue and took us to Provo, where she was attending education week at BYU. We spent the night in the dorms, cuddling on a twin size bed. Mike and I got up early so I could drive him the half hour back to his truck. He made his delivery and we met up later in Heber. The car still wouldnt start, so we pushed the car into a metal bin off of a dirt hill. It fell out while it was being put on the truck and we had to lift it back in (thanks to the help of a bunch of family members that happened to be passing by that way). In the meantime, I hadnt packed enough diapers, so when we ran out, I improvised by wrapping him in his blanket and finishing it off with a shopping bag. (just like the days of cloth diapers). it worked like a charm! Oh life is good!

Camping

The Bingham family including Mike, Josh, my lil sis Sara, my bro Jake, his wife Jamie, their three kids, Spencer, Bailey, Jaxon, my mom, dad, and I went camping in the Uinta mountains for a couple of days.
We went riding on dirt bikes and 4-wheeling all over the mountains... I think it is the last time we let my dad lead the way, it was a pretty crazy ride!!!

At least one of us was perky in the morning!

We hiked up a mountain with no trail and fallen trees all over until we came to a pretty meadow with a stream running through it and then we went fishing. These bite-size, charred pieces of flesh and bone are the fish we caught and ate later that night at camp!
