Joshua's Obsession

For the past several months, everytime Joshua sees an excavator, dumptruck, front end loader, or any other piece of equipment, he points and says "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, KSSHH". (The Ksshh sound is the sound of air brakes being released. The beep noise comes from driving with mike in the semi-truck when he backs up). The other noises he makes are from riding with Mike in the excavator.

At least several hours of the day are spent playing with his 'machine' toys, including the huge dump truck and front end loader that his aunt Emily bought him for Christmas. And yes Emily, I hold you responsible for my messy house, since Josh used to drag his toys around one by one! Now he hauls them by the dump truck load! He loads them with his front end loader and drives them around with his dump truck until he finds a suitable place to dump them!

He has also discovered that the computer has YouTube, where he can watch excavators and big equipment working! He won't ever watch movies, but whenever we go into the office, he thinks we are going to turn on a youtube clip and he comes running, pointing at the computer, and saying, "beep, beep, beep"!

I found this little wagon for him at a thrift store, and he pulls it all over the farm, full of all sorts of things. Lately, he has been hauling his excavator so he can dig in the dirt!
