Florida Cruise

In February, we went on a cruise to Cozumel and the Florida Keys. We left from the Port of Miami. We spent some time in Florida, where we visited the ocean an alligator farm and a gorgeous beach, before we embarked on our cruise. No complaints about the 80 degree weather! I only posted about a bazillion pictures from our trip! Below, the boys are munching on sandwiches at the airport.
The boys, as always, enjoyed the airplane ride.
Watching the trucks and the workers bustling about doing their jobs.
Visiting the Alligator farm, seeing the snakes and other reptiles and the alligators. When they are babies, they are so cute you almost want to pet them. Josh kept asking if he could have a pet alligator!
We went on an airboat ride in the everglades which was fun but really loud!
Taking advantage of the green grass.
Some of the Florida sights
The best part about a cruise, for mom, is the food, whatever you want and whenever, and mom doesn't have to cook any of it! The boys loved the ice cream and ate their portion for a year!
This is our dear friend, Dustin Wright, who joined us on our vacation. He is so sweet and has become a part of our family.
The boats are very accomodating for children, and they have a toy room, swimming pools and plenty of other activities.
Some shots with my boys in our room.
In Cozumel, we visited some of the Mayan ruins. Josh was on the look out for iguanas once he learned they lived there wild.
The beach in Cozumel was a beautiful protected little cove and we could have stayed there forever.
The little kiddie pool, one of the many pools on the ship, was nice because I didn't have to chase after them and worry about them drowning.
Checking out the sights in Key West. It is a bird refuge so when fighting chickens became illegal, they released them all and now they are protected from being killed...until my boys came along to harass them!
We went to an aquarium where the boys got to feed the sharks some fish and then pet a smaller one. They loved the hands on with everything, except the crab that looked like a stingray, Tommy wigged out with that one!
Disembarking off the boat with the luggage just their size!
As far as boys are concerned, rocks are for playing with!
We spent our last hours in Florida on Miami Beach. We tried to soak up all the glorious sunshine to take back to Wyoming with us.
Back in Wyoming, we were greeted with 4 degree temperature. While we were gone, we had our pipes freeze and burst! Thank heavens for incredible neighbors who took care of things and had them back to good as new when we returned.
